Congratulations go out to Richard Brennan and Jessica Kelly of L’Isle-aux-Allumette on the birth of their baby girl Fiona on Jan. 26, a little sister for Finley.
Birthday greetings and best wishes go out to Barb Myers of Sheenboro on Jan. 29, Gail McDonald, Tina Mainville and Alana Lepine Papin on Feb. 4 and to Donnie Lepine on Feb. 5.
If you recall last fall get well wishes were sent out to Jeff A’Hearn who was not doing so well after a mishap with his ATV in Sheen. Last week I was told he had stopped by to visit with Earl Lepine and has been a great help to him. Nice to hear that Jeff is doing much better. This guy never gives up and will probably be spotted in Sheen during bird season again this year.
The Sheen Book Club got together on Thursday at the home of Rosemary Flood. The novel discussed was “The Perfume Garden” by Kate Lord Brown was a good read. Details of the Spanish war and three generations of perfumers was discussed. The evening ended with an essential oil quiz. Thank you to our host for a fun evening.
