Our deepest condolences to the MacDougall family on the loss of Roland on May 22, at the age of 92.

Our sympathies to the Howard family on the loss of Abby Lee on May 23, at the age of 46.

The RCMP Musical Ride was held this past Sunday. In spite of the cooler weather the event was a success for everyone who attended. Kudos to the Pontiac Agricultural Society for their hard work on making this possible.

The Municipality of Shawville will be hosting a Free Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m..
