I very much enjoyed opening night of Pontiac High School’s production of Grease last Wednesday evening. What a show! It was absolutely fantastic. I know it was a hot ticket, with five sold-out performances throughout the week. Congratulations to the cast and crew, all of their hard work was definitely worth it. I am already looking forward to seeing what next year’s show will be.
On Saturday afternoon, the Quyon Legion hosted an Easter Bingo, with hams, turkeys, and cash prizes up for grabs. The Legion was filled with eager Bingo players out to enjoy the day with friends and to try their luck. Kudos to the Legion for organizing this event, which is much loved in our community. Please note that this coming Friday, Apr. 18, they will be holding a Ring Toss Tournament starting at 4 p.m.. Come on out to the Legion and join in the fun.
