The spring monthly meeting of St. Mary’s CWL was held the evening of April 9.
Following the reading of the March minutes the correspondence and treasurer’s report were read.
Items discussed and approved were the annual Rockathon, scheduled for Friday, April 27 from 1 to 5 p.m., and our CWL banquet set for Sunday, May 6 at Pine Lodge in Bristol. It is always a fun afternoon with good food and music.
The annual CWL diocesan convention will be in Pembroke, Ont. on May 26.
Cards were sent out to former St. Mary pastor Fr. Garry Cain, in celebration of the anniversary of his ordination into the priesthood and birthday greetings to Fr. Basil Tanguay who recently retired.
Thinking of you and sympathy cards are sent out in the community as needed.
Warming spring days have finally arrived — soon followed by the glorious days of summer.
