Wow! The Pontiac Lions Peewee C team have won two tournaments in two weekends making them champions twice in only one week.
“What an amazing bunch of kids,” said coach Brad Campeau.
“It’s amazing how this year our team has such an amazing team spirit. That’s one of their biggest strengths as a group,” commented assistants Scott Lemay and Sebastian Dresselt.
The team competed their first tournament Jan. 26 to Jan. 28 at our PPAPT event in Shawville. They won two out of three to make it to the finals playing against the Lachute Stars. It was a nail bitting game as it was still 0-0 after the first period.

Travis Hines scored the first goal for the Pontiac Lions assisted by Liam Dowe and Brodee Campbell but the Lachute Stars replied and it was 1-1 after the second period. The winning goal was made by Jacey Rivet after receiving a brilliant pass from his defenseman Kolten Mohr, creating a breakaway. This resulted in the team winning the Championship title on our home rink in front of all our fans!
