Quebec police services will be out in full force around Halloween to ensure drivers are being careful behind the wheel with so many people on the streets.
From Oct. 27 to Nov. 2, police will be keeping an eye on intersections, school zones as well as hospitals and seniors residences for drivers who don’t use their signaling devices.

Police also want to remind drivers that the months from October to December see the highest incidents between vehicles and pedestrians. Police say the main reason is a lack of visibility during these months.
Additionally, kids on a sugar binge who are out trick or treating can be erratic when running house to house for candy.
Police also want to remind pedestrians that they play a role in safe streets too. Remember to dress visibly when out at night and be careful when crossing roadways.
