The Equity

One of the best things to happen all year happened this summer when Eva Baldi and Thomas Beck came to work with us.

Eva, who hails from Beechgrove, worked as a reporter for THE EQUITY. Thomas, a Clarendon resident, helped in the front office and back shop, and occasionally took on a writing assignment for the newspaper as well.

From day one, they showed their true colours as eager learners, creative problem solvers and great team players.

Frankly, they knocked it out of the park.

Now, as their 10 weeks with us comes to an end, and they resume their educations in distant universities, we wish them all the best in their future adventures.

We commend both to any employer looking for bright, energetic people with a strong sense of responsibility to getting a job done well.

And we commend the Young Canada Works program to any employer looking for a way, in a tough economy, to hire some promising Pontiac youths.
