With the most recent dump of snow, it’s more apparent than ever why warm clothing is a necessity in our part of the world. On Tuesday, Shawville Lions Club President Paul Scheel, along with his son William, presented a cheque for $500 to Carol Valin of the Pontiac Snowsuit Fund, a local charity that provides winter clothing to members of the community.
