Dear Editor,

Major potholes along route 148 at the entrance to the Luskville Mall have not been fixed. They have been there at least a year. These potholes are dangerous to cars and cyclists who use the road’s shoulder. It is clearly not a hospitable situation for visitors to the municipality.

Earlier this summer, Mayor Joanne Labadie of the Municipality of Pontiac held a press conference with MNA André Fortin to highlight to the MTQ the dangerous situation at the entrance to the newly located depanneur which is part of this Luskville business section. Has there been any follow-up? Have the potholes been fixed?

Isn’t it up to our elected representatives to take responsible action on behalf of their citizens?
