Get well to Leo Burgess of Charteris who is in Shawville Hospital recovering from surgery last week. We wish Leo a speedy recovery.

This past Sunday I had the misfortune of falling. I guess I don’t have much balance back yet after the hip surgery. I fell flat on my face in the kitchen while making lunch but luckily I didn’t hurt the new hip as far as I know and no broken bones, just a lot of bruises. The infection on my leg seems to be getting better but I am still on antibiotics.
We had another fall of snow last Sunday. We better get those snow tires on, if we haven’t done it yet, including myself. I just seem to keep leaving it.

The Golden Age Club of Otter Lake is having their Christmas dinner on Dec. 16 at 5 p.m. for the cards and darts club. The dinner is at 6 p.m. and music to follow.
