The Pontiac Conservative Association was honoured to host former MP Lawrence Cannon at our AGM, held recently at the Wakefield Legion.
Lawrence is an individual that has brought credibility and esteem to public office over a number of years of dedicated public service in a variety of senior roles. His work ethic and the clout he held at the cabinet table accomplished a great deal for this region during his tenure as a Federal Minister and as our Member of Parliament.
An exceptional leader, he continues to be our champion. We cannot thank him enough for his inspirational words on the importance of keeping politics local, and for all he’s done for the Pontiac.
