Atom A Lions
The Atom A Lions faced the Jets La Lievre in Gatineau this past weekend in the Division finals. They lost in two games by scores of 7-2 and 7-3.
Scoring in game one was Matthew Kavanagh assisted by Liam Queale and Liam Queale assisted by Grayson Kilroy. Game two the goals were two by Liam Queale and one by Gavin Rusenstrom, with assists going to Hannah Twolan and Matthew Kavanagh. Gavin Rusenstrom was chosen as the Lions playoff MVP.
Congratulations for a great season and winning the Silver Cup. The team was coached by Mike and Steve Rusenstrom, Francois Gilbert and Matthew Queale and managed by Melanie Lefebvre. Thanks to all of the fans who supported the team.

Bantam A Lions
The Lions won the West Division by defeating the Aylmer Icebergs 5-2 in Shawville on March 20. Scorers were Harry-Lukas Hitz with two and singles going to Carson Rusenstrom, Graham Beattie and Ryan Lang. Assists went to Ryan Lang, Carson Rusenstrom, Connor Gilpin and Hunter-Lukas Hitz.
They went on to face the Jets La Lievre in Gatineau. Lions won game one with a 4-1 score. Harry-Lukas Hitz led the way with the hat trick and Ryan Lang had the other. Assists went to Ethan Queale, Bryan Tubman, Ray Durocher and Connor Gilpin. Game two saw the Jets win 4-1. Scoring for the Lions was Connor Gilpin from Harry-Lukas Hitz.
Game three was a nail bitter on Sunday in Gatineau. Unfortunately the Lions lost 2-1. Bryan Tubman scored the lone goal.
The Lions had a great season and brought home the Silver Cup. Harry-Lukas Hitz was chosen as the playoff MVP.
The team was coached by Wes Tubman, Steve Gilpin and Matthew Queale and managed by Jodie Humick.
