The Equity

A section of my neighbour’s fence snapped in the recent wind storm and fell flat. He spent Saturday digging deep holes to place new posts in that will secure the fence. The posts are down very deep now. I expect they will stand the test of time. It got me thinking.

Reflecting on some of the brokenness I have seen in my own life recently, I realize there are some bad attitudes that need to be dug out and replaced. I am sad that they are there, but recognizing that something is wrong and broken opens the door to making changes. And God doesn’t leave us in our misery. He shines a light in, then gives the solution in His word. He makes all things new!
