Dear Editor,

Leaked plans for the American administration to deploy National Guard troops to quell protests and “unrest” within the U.S. is not a surprise given Trump’s less than secret wish to be president for more than the Constitutional two terms.

Sending the National Guard to police cities like Los Angeles and Washington are only test runs for this authoritarian. Trump has already disputed one election, without merit, and will want to conquer America in order to continue plundering its wealth. Benjamin Netanyahu has had the gall to nominate this despot in the making for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Netanyahu is under criminal investigation himself for his dealings in Israel and is indicted for war crimes by the international community. Trump furnishes Israel with arms, and wants to turn Palestine into a casino strip full of Trump Towers. He is not in the least bit worried about the carnage and suffering being inflicted on the people of Gaza.
