On this snowy Monday morning I can’t think of anything happy or of any importance to share. This took me by surprise. Am I living in LaLa land? Maybe.
I hope with the snow people will now get into holiday mood. Usually by this time it’s that way but for some reason things seem to be different this year.
There is too much sickness around, I think people are depressed. Sister Cecile is back in hospital and Ken Morin did a few days in there as well so we send out our good wishes. Every week we need to add someone new to the prayer list it seems. Craig Bowie formerly of Campbell’s Bay had surgery last week. It went well. David Brown is still in Montreal so we send a lot of good wishes out to everyone.
Christmas parades will be starting so that will make little children happy and also the young at heart.
The shop will be open Mondays for the month of December so it will give people an extra chance to come in.
We are attending the Festival of Christmas lights in Niagara Falls, Ont. so maybe that will put us in the Christmas spirit.
People were taking away their docks for the winter and tying them up in safer places away from the current. I would say it was just in time as the storm came Saturday night.
The Legion held a supper on Friday evening and it looked like there was a good attendance.
Well, I don’t have have anything else so I will wish everyone a happy birthday or happy anniversary and for sure we want to wish everyone a speedy recovery good health.
