I really can’t believe how time flies by. It is almost the middle of July already. I find if you have lots to do it goes by faster.
It looks like it’s going to rain most of the week but the gardens seem to be doing well. We have some tomatoes already, broccoli, celery and potatoes. It is all coming up so fast. Some of these things are expensive to buy in the grocery store and when you grow it yourself you know no pesticides have been put on them, as there seem to be so much cancer and maybe that is one of the reasons.

It was nice yesterday to see three people riding past our place on horseback.
My husband and I have been busy insulating our basement and putting up drywall. It is a lot of work but it should be much more comfortable down there.
I am going to separate my foal and the mother which should be interesting.
We have had people coming over the mountain on their ATVS for two years now and they stop in to see my horses. It is so nice, they come from Quyon.
My sister Susan who lives in Belleville, Ont. was coming out of Walmart and she ran into Monique Atkinson who was visiting her son in Trenton who is in the air force.
My daughter has had her mother-in law from B.C. visiting with her granddaughter. She took them to Toronto to visit some relatives they hadn’t seen for a while and the CN Tower. When they got home she took Emily and her cousin to see a concert with Pink performing in it.
Well my neighbour Linda should be home soon from Texas. I’m sure she had a great time.
Before we know it, the Shawville Fair will be here. I was thinking about entering my foal but will have to work with her more first. I would love to see her get a ribbon.
I see some kids going past our place on ATVS but going way too fast. Be careful, these things are easy to flip.
Also don’t leave your dogs tied out without water in this hot weather as we wouldn’t like to be out there without water or food.
