Barn fire in Municipality of Pontiac

Firefighters douse a barn fire in the Municipality of Pontiac on July 30. The fire broke out around 7 a.m. and was under control by 9:30 a.m. There were 21 firefighters who responded from the Municipality of Pontiac Fire Department as well as six from Chelsea. Fire Chief Richard Groulx said that since the blaze broke out on a weekday, it limited the number of volunteer firefighters who could respond.
