What happened Jan. 6 2021? Riots on Capitol Hill, Washington DC? Trump’s role was key to inciting insurrection. Astonishing. In the USA. Really?
I am thankful that I live in Canada and not the USA. To me, Canada is the best country in the world. It is also a county affected by what happens in the USA our neighbour to the south.
Personally, I never thought that . . .
Donald Trump would win the presidency in 2016. My thought when he did was, “The Americans have elected themselves a dictator.” Everything he had done, has done since then has confirmed that.
The USA started out with the ideal “Government by the people for the people.” Then it became “Government by the rich for the rich.” Then it became “Government by the NRA for the NRA.” That is why every time there is a mass shooting, there has not been any change to the gun laws. Are the American people getting fed up with it? Do they want to go back to government by the people for the people, one that is honest and truthful, not one with a hidden agenda?
I am not surprised at what happened on Capitol Hill.
I think back to 2015/16 when Donald Trump was running against Hillary Clinton. How many times did you hear Trump say “If I don’t win this election, it was rigged, it was stolen?” Sound familiar? How many times did you hear Trump promote hatred and violence and racial slurs such as “all Mexicans are rapist and drug dealers,” “I am going to build a wall” etc. and other such statements? He is very good at lying and stirring up hatred and anger.
President Donald Trump strutted around arrogantly bullying everyone he could, to get his own way. He now had the power and those under his influence feared him. He promoted hatred, he lied, he cheated, he threatened. Trump fooled the foolish who believed everything he said, including falsely, “I won the election of 2020.”.
They are still being fooled. These people think that Donald Trump actually cares about them. He lied to them about COVID-19 and when he knew about it and how dangerous it was. He lied about needing the protection of wearing masks and social distancing. He lied to them saying, just come to my rallies, no need to wear masks or keep distance, “Just come. Make me look good.” Trump didn’t care whether they got sick or not. It would be interesting to know how many did catch COVID-19. Is this the action of someone who cares for his supporters, cares for the everyday American people?
He chipped away at American goodness and decency and the democracy, firing advisers that disagreed with him and replacing key positions with those willing to say “Yes sir, right away sir!” Whether it was good for the country or not. He shunned the advice of his advisors.
In recent months firing key military figures and other key leaders, I believe he was trying to set it up so that he could pull off a military coup and declare himself dictator of the United States of America.
Trump says he can give himself a Presidential Pardon. What is he planning to do that requires a Presidential Pardon?
Americans don’t get it. He doesn’t want to be President of the USA., so much as, he wants to be dictator of the USA. He has tried every tactic he could to bring that about. Thank heavens for a military leader who stated on TV that the military was not there to support any “one man” but to protect and uphold the Constitution of the USA.
But Trump is still trying to set up a military coup, a revolution, to bring in the military for any reason, with less than two weeks left in his presidency.
I believe Donald Trump is the most dangerous man since Hitler and some rioters were chanting the Nazi chant “Heil Hitler.” America, don’t trust Donald Trump, keep a close watch on him.
I have just been watching the news and Trump has released a new video message. Kind of a mixed message condemning while at the same time praising the rioters. By the way, this is the first time I have ever heard Donald Trump say “God Bless America.” Someone else must have wrote his speech.
