Congratulations to Brady and Cass (Sullivan) Trudeau on the safe arrival of their baby girl. She was born on July 7, and they have named her Clover Lisa-Leigh. Wishing Brady and Cass all the best with their adorable wee girl.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Mervin Conroy on July 6. I met Merv a few years ago when he reached out to me to purchase Watkins products, and every time I ran into him since, it was like meeting up with an old friend. He was so kind and friendly. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones at this sad time.

Birthday wishes are going out to my godson, Cowan Ramsay, as he celebrates on July 16. Happy birthday to Cindy Lapierre on the 18th, to Kerry-Lynn O’Connell and Ricky Belland on the 19th, and to Bryce Hudson on the 22nd. Best wishes to all who are celebrating this week.

On Sunday July 13th, a baby shower was held in honour of Michayla Teevens, at the home of her parents, Heather and Barry Teevens. Family and friends showered Michayla with gifts and good wishes, as she and her husband Shawn anxiously await the arrival of Baby Walters. I hear the outdoor shower was lovely, and wrapped up just before the storms hit. Wishing Michayla and Shawn all the best as they prepare to welcome their little one.
