Six-year-old Graysen Byrne, with help from Abigail Pieschke, takes a ride on Radar, a miniature horse at the Shawville Street Event on Saturday. Organized by Lana Cowley, the event coincided with White Buffalo Vintage’s annual antique yard sale and included mini horse rides, a vintage car show, a vendor market and a BBQ.

Téa Allaire, of Allaire Freeze drying, one of the vendors taking part in the market, she was selling her freeze-dried skittles, fruit and ice cream sandwiches. Allaire has been in the business for over a year and says that attending markets such as the one on Saturday is a great way to showcase her items. Along with freeze-dried goodies, she also offers custom-made backpacking and camping meals, pet food and treats.
