The Equity

Dear Editor,

As a recent subscriber to THE EQUITY who has lived in the Pontiac since April, 2017 and who lived in Ontario for many years, I felt it necessary to respond to your editorial.

As an elected representative of Pontiac . . .

the first duty for Mr. Amos, is to represent each and every member of his constituency with the utmost respect and dignity, at all times. In my humble opinion, this incident was entirely of his own making and fault and the responsibility of his actions lies with him. This incident will pass with time and who can even surmise the thoughts of others.

In addition, I wish to comment on your remark about Brian Lilley. As a journalist, the only thing that should matter is that you report the news with accuracy and truth and leave your personal feelings on his lifestyle to yourself.

In actual fact, there are many more issues that need immediate attention, such as the procurement of vaccines for all in the Pontiac and indeed Canada. Just some food for thought.
