St. Mary’s CWL in Quyon held its monthly meeting and Christmas celebrations on Dec. 1 following the 11 a.m. mass.
After the various reports . . .
were given members enjoyed a potluck luncheon and gift exchange. It is always a pleasant afternoon.
It has been agreed once again, to sponsor one student from each of the town’s schools for the breakfast club.
A thank you card was received from children in Honduras who received kits from the Sleeping Children Around the Worlds (SCAW) Charity. The CWL donated two kits for the charity that supplies bedding for needy children around the world. A picture of the children was included.
Members are reminded of membership dues.
Sympathy and get well cards were sent out in the community as needed.
Wishing all in our community a happy, holy Christmas and good health and good happenings in the coming year.
