On Saturday, Shawville’s Main Street was bustling with pedestrians as the street was closed off for Shop Shawville’s first Shop the Block event. While the skies above looked gloomy and grey, the event still drew a solid number of local residents and business people eager to make the most of the market. According to the event’s organizer Helena Hadley, the event is a great way of bringing the region together as it attracts businesses from all over the Pontiac to contribute.
