New officers sworn in for MRC des Collines

On June 4, Onslow Elementary School in Quyon played host to a swearing-in ceremony for 14 new officers to the MRC des Collines Police. The cadets were sworn in by the Public Security Service Director Yves Charette.

Several local officials spoke at the ceremony, including MRC des Collines Warden Caryl Green, interim Director General Claude Chénier and La Pêche Mayor Claude Lamoureux. They welcomed the new officers to the force and emphasized the service’s commitment to community policing. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a certificate recognizing the efforts of Municipality of Pontiac Mayor Joanne Labadie and her staff for all their hard work during the flooding.
