Canadian country music duo High Valley will be playing the main stage at the fair on Sept. 2.
The band is made up of brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel.
The brothers are currently touring the U.S. to promote their most-recent acoustic EP, The Farmhouse Sessions.
The album features their debut single “Make You Mine” as well as well as their Canadian Country Music Chart-topping single “I Be U Be.”
“Make You Mine” is the band’s first major label single after inking a deal with Atlantic Records/ Warner Music Nashville.

“Beginning with a burst of turbocharged acoustic guitar, the tune builds momentum with a four-on-the-floor kick drum and rousing group choruses that beg to be shouted at full-volume,” the band’s website says of the new single.
On top of their songs being streamed over 100 million times, “Make You Mine” was their first top-ten single in country music radio.
The brothers performed the song at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville earlier this year with one of their biggest influences, country and bluegrass musician Ricky Skaggs.
Ahead of the fair, the band has been playing venues all across the U.S. with their stop in Shawville being their only Canadian date.
They’re in Mount Pleasant, Iowa before coming to Shawville and will quickly dash out of town for Montgomery, Indiana.
High Valley won both the 2015 and 2016 Canadian Country Music Award for group or duo of the year. They also took home the 2013 award as interactive artists of the year.
The group’s major label debut album, Dear Life, was nominated at the 2018 JUNO Awards for country album of the year.
The group has also been nominated for JUNO Awards for country album of the year in 2012 and 2016, respectively.
The brothers grew up in La Crete, Alberta, which is a Menonite community with a population around the size of Shawville.
