On Tuesday, Jeannette Gagnon, Cynthia Belaire, Ella Bayne and a few former co-workers from Superior Electric in Pembroke gathered for a tasty lunch at the Waltham Station. They enjoyed socializing and reminiscing of the times they worked together.
A cheery hello is extended to a dear friend Lynne Belley. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the Gagnon family of Chapeau, Que. in the recent passing of Joseph John “Victor” Gagnon. He was the beloved husband of Ruth Doran and the late Elizabeth Woods.
On Thursday, the birthday club met at the Waltham Station. Gilda Heaney was the birthday girl this month. We also celebrated Fay Leroy’s. Everyone enjoyed a tasty lunch and birthday cake.
On Friday afternoon, family and friends gathered at Lorna and Frankie Turner’s to celebrate once again, Fay Leroy (Lorna’s sister) and Gilda Heaney’s 70th birthdays. In the afternoon, we sat out on the deck and took in the warm sunshine. We enjoyed snacks, a chicken and salad supper and birthday cake. These lovely ladies were really well celebrated this year.
On Monday afternoon, the official ground breaking ceremony took place for the construction of Résidence Meilleur, a seniors’ residence for the Upper Pontiac. A reception followed.
Our dear Michael is celebrating his birthday today. We send you our love and may the coming year be filled with God’s blessings of love, peace and joy.
