On Friday evening, Pontiac West Firefighters hosted a lovely roast beef dinner for the Pontiac County Fire Chiefs and their spouses. Everyone enjoyed the evening.
On Saturday afternoon, Betty and Earl Grieve attended their grandnephew, little Jaxson Ethier’s first birthday party, son of Holly and Curtis Ethier of Pembroke, Ont.
On Saturday afternoon, an 80th surprise birthday party was held in honour of Dionia Durocher. Dionia, his wife Joan and sons are visiting family and friends from Watson Lake. It took place at the Waltham Town Hall. Everyone extended their best wishes to Dionia and enjoyed a tasty meal, birthday cake and socializing.
I sure hope that everyone was out and about taking in the beautiful weather on the weekend. We can finally say that spring is here.
