Congratulations are extended to all graduates from JK to university. This is a different year to celebrate because . . .
of COVID-19. It is sad that graduates are not able to celebrate their graduation in the traditional way, but they had to be very innovative and creative in order to celebrate this milestone in their lives. Perhaps this generation will be the first to embrace the virtual work place and become part of an evolution that uses technology to reduce our human footprint on the environment. Our struggles to overcome problems are often the gateway to solutions, that in the end, produce a better world. All the best in your future endeavors.
I hope that everyone is weathering this heat wave safely. It is suppose to cool down a bit this coming week.
On Sunday, our family celebrated Father’s Day with a tasty barbecue rib dinner. We also celebrated Benjamin’s grade six graduation. He will enter École Secondaire Catholique Embrun in the fall.
We are so happy to hear that our masses will resume in our parishes this coming weekend. June 27 and 28. There are strict measures and guidelines to follow but I am sure that we will adjust.
Happy St. Jean Baptiste everyone.
