A new water advisory has been communicated with the residents of Shawville and some Clarendon residents not to water lawns and gardens and to limit household consumption and not to wash cars until further notice. Please also note that water boil advisory is still in effect.
June 24 is St. John the Baptist Day holiday celebrated in the province of Quebec. It was brought to Canada by French settlers celebrating the traditional feast day of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist.
