I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. The weather was nice and it was good to get outside and enjoy it. While we were unable to gather in our usual way, we made the best of it. We watched the . . .
Quyon Pastoral Charge Easter service on Facebook Live which was beautiful and uplifting. For dinner, my mom and I ordered take-out turkey dinner from Cartrite’s in Shawville and it was delicious. I have to hope that this is our last lockdown holiday but it was still a great long weekend of celebrating in small ways.
Congratulations to Holly and Jared Hamilton on the safe arrival of their new baby boy on April 5. They welcomed beautiful baby Jasper, a little brother for Faith, Clark, Everett and Grace. Proud grandparents are Barrie and Diane Drummond and Bill and Susan Hamilton. Wishing the whole family all the best with their little bundle of blue.
Belated birthday wishes are going out to Graham Dowe as he celebrated on April 3. Happy birthday also to Emma Hobbs on April 8, to Vera Meredith on April 12 and big birthday wishes to my mom Elizabeth Young and my uncle Paul Lucas who both celebrating on April 13. Best wishes to everyone celebrating this week.
As the COVID-19 situation has worsened in the Outaouais in recent weeks and we now have a lockdown with schools closed in the Municipality of Pontiac I hope that everyone is staying safe. Hang in there folks we will get through this. Take care and be well.
