On Friday night, dozens of little tykes gathered at Pontiac High School (PHS) for a double feature of Christmas movies, festive treats and crafts.
Put on by the Shawville Area Parents’ Voice, there were crafts and activities spread out through the lobby to keep the youngsters engaged.

Organizer Shelley Heaphy explained that this is the group’s fifth Christmas party, though it is the first time they’ve chosen to do a movie night.
“Every year we try and do a different event,” she said, noting that they would be raising money to go towards the school’s auditorium restoration project.
First up on the big screen was Frosty’s Winter Wonderland followed by the Tim Allen feature The Santa Clause.
