On May 14, the Golden Age Club had a potluck supper at 5 p.m. followed by the annual meeting of the club which was followed by cards and darts.
There was an election of president, vice-president and secretary treasurer.
The result of the election was the re-election of Janet Lafleur as president, Ivan Leblanc as vice-president and Robin Zacharias as secretary treasurer.
There were about 70 members in attendance and one guest, Dave Sylvester.
The 50/50 was won by Doreen Zimmerling. Card results were: First went to Ray Gillespie, second to Edgar Dagenais and third to Micheal Robillard.
Dart results were: Team #1: Janet Lafleur, Dan Ryan, Henri St. Aubin and Ivan Leblanc. Team #2: Henry Longpré, Bob Zimmerling Carl Kappes and Yvonne. Team #3: Debbie Miron, Louise Leblanc, Armand Beaudoin and Dennis Schwartz.
Dart results for May 16 were: 50/50 was won by Sylvie Lemay and the door prize by Denis Lafleur. Ladies first was won by Sylvie Lemay and second by Louise Schwartz. Mens first went to Evert Hodgins and second to Laurier Francoeur.
Guests attending were Francine Primeau, Lucie Belsey, Viviane Gravelle and Fern Gravelle.
Card results for May 21 were: 50/50 was won by Rose Dagenais and the door prize went to Diana Peck. Ladies first was won by Ann Bourgeau, second went to Charlene Johnston. Mens first went to Robin Zacharias and second went to Dave Lalonde.
Lunch was prepared by Doreen Zimmerling and Carl Kappes.
May 23 dart results were:
50/50 was won by Lynn Kluke. Door prize went to Richard Dubois. Ladies first was won by Lynn Blazek and second went to Velma Lafleur. Mens first was won by Evert Hodgins and second was won by Henrie St. Aubin.
