SHAWVILLE
Two games took place on July 17, starting with the 7 p.m. game of the Tubman Autobody Twins against the Young’s Appliance Repairs Inc. Royals.
The Twins swept over the Royals, winning 14-0. Pitching for the Twins was Shane Powell, while Ryan Nugent ruled the mound for their opponents.

The second game featured the Trudeau Collision Brewers against the Gannon/Blackburn Electric Inc. Bucks. With Trevor Lahey as the winning pitcher, the Brewers won 7 – 2. Taking the loss was Lenny Burger, with relief from Shawn Laframboise.

QUYON FLYERS
The Quyon Flyers played two back-to-back games on July 19, facing off with West Carleton Electric both times. Rallying hard in the first game at 7 p.m. they won that one 11 – 8, before succumbing in the second game.
The 9 p.m. game saw West Carleton Electric win 12 – 5, with the Flyers still sitting at second on the Greater Ottawa Fastball League’s leaderboards.
Next up the Flyers will host the Micksburg Twins at an 8 p.m. game on July 26.
