Pontiac film fest draws crowds

Louis Harvey (right) and France Lavoie (centre) of Pontiac cultural organization Phare Ouest hosted last weekend’s Festival international du Cinéma des Femmes du Pontiac. Seven feature length and six short films were shown in Fort-Coulonge over the three-day festival, including the opening and closing films directed by Quebec filmmaker Mélanie Charbonneau (left). The event drew 150 attendees from across the Outaouais to enjoy a weekend of francophone cinema from Quebec and beyond. Photo: Phare Ouest
