This program has allowed them to work by learning in different seniors home in the community to apply their knowledge in caring for seniors.
Our June 24, they celebrated the Licensed Practical Nurse Program graduates (LPN). These students have completed 31 competencies over the last two years. They learned anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and laboratory skills.
Along with the program they have also done 10 different placements and worked hands-on. The students have trained at Wakefield, Hull Hospital, Longterm, Pontiac Reception Center, and many more places.
“As one of their teachers and a nurse myself, I can honestly say that we admire them for answering the call to duty. Wanting to dedicate your life to others has always been noble but to do it in a time of crisis is another,” said Hall.
