I hope all the mothers out there had a nice Mother’s Day. One thing that makes Mother’s Day special is whenever the kids make it home. Diane Pirie had a lovely visit from her kids and grandchildren which was nice and they helped her with her chores.
Sorry to say my daughter Natasha couldn’t make it this year as she was in Niagara Falls, Ont. teaching hairdressers for Rusk how to cut and colour hair. Some times we have to work.
My granddaughter Emily was helping with the run in Ottawa for Dementia.

We have purchased an underground dog fence which will keep our dogs off the road. I don’t want them to get run over even though most people are so nice to watch for them.
I have started my seeds for the garden this year with a grow light from TSC and it works great. My plants are getting too tall.
If anyone wants some nice plants go to Kelly’s in Shawville as they are very helpful. I bought some blueberry plants and she was very informative as to which ones to buy so they will cross pollinate.
I also want to say a big thank you to WEPC for helping me again with my computer. They are always very friendly and helpful.
I got some beautiful flowers from my neighbour Maris from her beautiful hot house. It made my Mother’s Day.
