My pup and I don’t always go out for our walk. Sometimes the weather is hateful. The wind, mixed with sleet and rain, is beyond what I want to experience, so we wait.
There is an expression I’ve heard about the wind which goes like this, “They are like a book in the wind.” It certainly doesn’t sound like a compliment. But, I think it is easy to fall into the trap of wanting to please. Been there. Done that.
The problem is, everyone has a different idea of what you should or should not do. And fear of people can take over, control our life. The Bible says the fear of man is a trap. The only person we need to fear is God. He alone has the power of life and death. Thankfully, He is merciful and He is good.
