I’ve been listening to the news and as I watch this war unfold. I have felt a sense of the anguish the people must be feeling. They are losing everything and are even in danger of losing their lives. Most of us have not experienced anything anywhere near that type of trauma. You could even wonder…does God see? What is . . .
He doing? I heard a man explaining about Jesus’ disciples caught in a severe storm. They too cried out, “Don’t you care that we are going to die?” Jesus answered by calming the storm and said “Do you not have faith?”
There’s the key. Everything we see is very important to us but in reality, what matters most are the things that cannot be seen, like faith, hope, love and our eternal soul. And yes, God cares. He is helping through the hands of the many people in the world who in compassion are reaching out to help the helpless. And as people cry out, God promises and He will, in miraculous ways, come to their aid. Psalm 116.
