What a change in the weather. We had a significant amount of rain on Saturday and the temperature dropped to more seasonal. I believe the beautiful, warm weather we were experiencing this past week or two has ended for this year.

Congratulations, love and best wishes are extended to Holly and Curtis Ethier on the birth of their beautiful daughter Melody. She is a little playmate for big brother Jacxon.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Lloyd H. Armstrong of Bathurst, NB. He was raised by his uncle Clifford and Aunt Katherine (Armstrong) Robinson in a loving home in Waltham. He was also known as Squire. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl (Cherrie Williston). Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with Cheryl, family and friends at this difficult time.

Well, the moose hunt is over for another year and a few hunters were lucky enough to get their moose. Congratulations is extended to all.

It was nice meeting and chatting with Joan and Art McGuire at the Waltham Station on Sunday morning. We haven’t seen them since before the pandemic.

Birthday wishes are extended to Andrew Pelletier of Bonfiled, Ont. who celebrated a birthday on Oct. 17. We hope that you enjoyed your special day Andrew.

Birthday wishes and love go out to my brother Brian Heagle of Cornwall, Ont. who is celebrating his birthday Oct. 23. Enjoy your special day Brian.
