I sure hope everyone survived the heat wave and high humidity this past week. The temperature on Saturday was more bearable and much cooler.

Our heart, thoughts and prayers go out to the poor people of Haiti who suffered a major 7.2 earthquake on Saturday morning.

On Sunday afternoon, we met Mike, Alex, Mikaela and Ben. We did some shopping and enjoyed a lovely dinner together.

Birthday wishes and lots of love are extended to our dear Jacob who is celebrating his birthday today. May the coming year be filled with many new challenges and aspirations Jacob.
