Last Thursday, the Birthday Club met at the Waltham Station. The birthday girls this month were Ella Bayne, Connie Ethier and Shirley Morin. Everyone enjoyed socializing, taking . . .
precautionary measures, a delicious lunch and three lovely birthday cakes.
On Halloween night, we enjoyed seeing and treating some trick or treaters. We had put a decorated table out on the lawn and the children could come forth and take some treats. It wasn’t the same as them coming to our door but we enjoyed watching them from a distance.
Our heartfelt, sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the Neville family of St. Joseph in the recent passing of Fay Neville (nee Field). She was the beloved wife of Harold (Harry) Neville. I did not know Fay on a personal level but what I am hearing is that she was a beautiful, kind, loving person always ready to help someone out. May she rest in peace.
On Monday, it was very blustery out with wind and snow flurries. It is suppose to go up to 18 degrees Celsius by the end of the week. That will be quite a change in the weather.
Warm birthday wishes are extended to Suzanne Gagnon who is celebrating her birthday today. Enjoy your special day Susie.
