We were saddened to hear of the passing of Albert (Bert) Bechamp. He was the dear partner and caregiver of Kathy Lynn Gerundin. Bert worked in the education profession in Shawville and Campbell’s Bay Schools. He was a principal for over 30 years. Bert worked tirelessly and loved his blueberry field. Bert was known in the Pontiac as an historian and was very proud of his native roots. At one time, Bert played ball and hockey. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time. You will be missed dear Bert, may you RIP.
