A curtain-dropping display of aurora borealis swept over North America on Thursday evening, reaching as far south as Texas thanks to an unusually powerful geomatic storm.

In the Pontiac, far from the light pollution that makes the northern lights less perceptible in the cities, the show was especially eye-, or phone-catching.

On Friday we invited readers to submit their best shot of Thursday’s light show to THE EQUITY using our mobile app or website, and we’re happy to be able to share them all with our readers here.
