I finally got my house listed with the real estate agent Remax. It was sure a lot of work getting here. My sister Norma is getting very anxious for me to get to BC and I am too.
Have any of you seen any . . .
hummingbirds yet? My guys usually come back on May 14 or 15 and I’ve seen no signs of them yet. I have prepared the sugar water and I’m ready for them. They always come back to the same place every year.
As I drove by the osprey nest yesterday I noticed both mom and dad preparing the nest. It’s so nice to see them return back year after year.
I would like to congratulate Annette O’Connor who was inducted into the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame for her work engaging patients in their own treatment and supporting them in shared decision-making with physicians and caregivers. Annette is the mother-in-law of my cousin Cheryl Mayhew. She is so proud of her mother-in-law for such an achievement and so are we. Congratulations Annette.
I would like to wish the following people a very happy birthday: Sharon Crawford on May 5, Sarah Bertrand and Amanda Hearty on May 6; Gerry Kluke on May 8, Maurice Morin on May 9, Hunter Beauregard, Jason Gravelle and Mathew Hearty all on the May 10; Denyse Mayhew Stewner and Diane Jolin on May 11.
Happy anniversary wishes go out to Kim and Chris Sauriol on May 5, to Linda and Frank Frost on May 8, to Faye and Mike McGuire on May 10 and to Serena and Tim Ferrigan on May 11.
I have been purging my closets and dressers and you never realize how much stuff you have until you actually have to get rid of it. I’ve already sent five bagfuls of clothes to a needy charity. I was able to give away a lot of my picture frames and wool to a school teacher in Shawville. I still have a lot of pine cones and crafting material for anybody who wants it.
