I had a surprise visitor this weekend. My daughter, Shelley from Port Carling, Ont. decided to come home and visit for the weekend. It was nice having her here alone so I could have more one on one time with her. She came Friday afternoon and stayed until lunchtime on Sunday. Theresa came over and we played a lot of cards.

What a crazy year or should I say two? Due to COVID we have been stuck in our homes, unable to travel or see family and friends. Now this crazy heat wave out west and forest fires, seven weeks of spring drought here, lack of supplies, grocery prices going sky high, and everything being blamed on COVID, or should it be?
Can’t get contractors or electricians to fulfill their contracts. Frustrations are running high all over. Everyone wants things to be back to normal. But it won’t until everyone gets vaccinated. There are so many non-believers. What a crazy world we now live in.
