I have only one week left in my house. Then I’ll be staying at Sharon’s until Dec. 3 then I am off to cousin Freda’s to say goodbye and visit for a few days. On Dec. 6 is the flight out to start the . . .

next chapter of my life. It is exciting and scary at the same time.

I’m really busy getting everything packed to ship out by transport to Norma’s. What a lot of organization. I only want to have my two suitcases on the plane. Then I’m helping Sharon to get the lunch ready for Bruce Hodgins’ Celebration of Life on Nov. 20.

Shelly and Carl and the boys are coming on Nov. 20 to finish cleaning the little things out of the house, like all the food and the freezer stuff. There are lots of last minute details. I’m nervous and anxious. I’ve already got mail waiting for me at Norma’s. I already have a dentist, family doctor and ophthalmologist who accepted me as a new patient. I’m so lucky.

Norma and I have been invited for Christmas supper at Lynn and David’s. Norma’s birthday is on the 16th so I’ll be able to put on a little party for her. It’s going to be a very hectic December settling in and unpacking. I’ll keep you up to date on my adventures because I know there will be a lot. Norma will keep me busy and on my toes. That will be good for my body and soul.

I want to send out my heartfelt condolences to Marilyn Amyotte who lost her youngest brother on Remembrance Day. His name was Hilliard Mousseau and he had been living in Gatineau, Que. Marilyn lost her son Pat just before this. Hugs to you. So much bad news for the family.

Poor Shirley Pepin had some excitement on Saturday morning. She has an emergency alert system in her house and it decided to go off. It called all her contacts and we all went running to help her. She didn’t set it off and she was fine but she thinks one of the cats must have jumped on the main box attached to the phone. She was so upset that it disturbed everyone but I told her it was a good thing because at least she knows it’s going to work if she really does need it.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Kelly and Kerrie Hearty and Hal Crawford on Nov. 17, to Perry Belanger on Nov. 18, to Ayden Beauregard on Nov. 19, to Edward Belanger, Tim Ferrigan, Allyson Belanger and Brenda Frost on Nov. 21, to Jesse Beauregard on Nov. 22 and to John Morin and Kevin Sloan on Nov. 23.

Happy anniversary wishes go out to Debbie and Ricky Frost on Nov. 17.
