Trust and obey

Trust and obey

The Equity

Trust and obey is the name of a song. Not my most favourite. It sounds simple right? You would think so, and yet at ground level it is not! Like clockwork, in every hard situation that comes, it seems at first, easier to just try to figure things out on my own. Eventually though, experiencing my limitations, I come back to that bottom line and I choose to pray, to trust and to obey.

But why wait? God knows everything, including the future. And He says, ‘become like little children.’ Not childish. Like children. Children know their limits and look for help. It’s almost automatic. When a need arises they are humble and call out! Something worth thinking about.
