The body retrieved from the Ottawa River on Saturday was that of the 30-year-old woman who went missing after falling out of her kayak last week, a Wednesday (Sept. 25) press release from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has confirmed.
The Bromley Historical Society welcomes Renfrew County historian Dave Lemkay to speak on Pines in the Sand – Lemke Family Roots and Branches. This free public presentation takes place on Sunday, August 17, 2pm, at the Old Town Hall, 498 Micksburg Road, Osceola.
