Congratulations to the . . .

elected officials and a tip of the hat to all the other candidates who ran in the election. Running against a neighbour, a friend or even a relative is not easy. We are moving forward in our municipalities.

Congratulations go out to Cory Spence, the newly elected mayor and Brian Adam, councillor of L’Îsle-aux-Allumette.

Just a reminder tickets are still available for the Dec. 12 draw in support of the three parishes.

Because of the pandemic and small numbers allowed inside, Remembrance Day on Nov. 11 in Sheenboro will be laying of wreaths, a minute of silence and the ringing of the bell.

Deer season is open for the next two weeks. When out walking on the trails or local roads, please remember to wear your orange safety vest.
