Our sympathies to the family of Lois Garretty Howard who passed away on Aug. 18, in British Columbia in her 98th year. She was the wife of the late John W. Howard. She was the mother of Karen and Reverend Dan. She was the sister-in-law of Rona Miller and Marshallene Campbell. 

Our thoughts and prayers for the Larocque family on the loss of Brenda on Aug. 22 in hospital, Shawville at the age of 65. Brenda was the wife of James Hiram Hodgins. She was the mother of Bobby, Julie and John. Brenda was the grandmother of Taitan, Nathan, Jaidan, Emma, Nicholas and Zachary.

Our condolences to the Barber and Elliott families on the loss of Isabel on Aug. 25. She was the wife of the late Bud. She was the mother of the late Lynn (Elwyn), Marsha (Myles), Barbara (John) and Charles (Elizabeth). She was the sister of Lois (Bill).
